Monshaat, Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, is set to host a series of specialized workshops in Madinah as part of its Social Entrepreneurship Week. The initiative aims to equip entrepreneurs and founders with the tools to build sustainable ventures that address both community needs and environmental standards.

From Social Impact to Viable Business
The workshops are designed to bridge the gap between social good and commercial viability. A key session, “Types of Social Entrepreneurship Models,” will be led by social entrepreneurship consultant Ahmed Boujeer. He will outline various frameworks that allow businesses to generate both societal impact and economic returns.
Complementing this, investment consultant Hisham Al-Jabr will present a session titled “How to Turn Needs into Profitable Projects.” This workshop will focus on practical strategies for identifying community needs and structuring them into investable, high-growth business opportunities.
Integrating ESG into Urban Development
Reflecting a growing regional focus on sustainability, the program includes a specialized meeting on environmental management. Nayef Al-Harbi, Director of the Environmental Sanitation Department at Madinah Municipality, will lead the session “Environmental Management Plan for Urban Projects.”
This talk will address the critical environmental considerations for urban-focused startups and projects, emphasizing the importance of adopting sustainable practices in their operational and strategic planning. The sessions will take place this upcoming Sunday at the SME Support Center in Madinah.
