Snoonu, the Kuwait-based super-app, has rolled out Royal Club, marking the first integrated loyalty program from a super-app in the country. The program is designed to reward users for their regular engagement with the platform’s diverse services.
Quick Facts
- First loyalty program from a Kuwaiti super-app.
- Features a five-tier system from Ruby to Platinum.
- Backed by Saudi food delivery giant Jahez International.
From Coins to Perks: How Royal Club Works
Royal Club operates on a straightforward points system where members earn one coin for every Kuwaiti Dinar spent on the app. The program also encourages engagement through “quests,” such as ordering on specific days or trying new services, which grant bonus coins.
As users accumulate coins, they advance through five tiers: Ruby, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Each tier unlocks a new level of benefits, including free delivery, automotive discounts, hotel stays, dining offers, and wellness perks. Notably, spending coins on rewards does not impact a member’s tier progress, allowing them to redeem benefits without losing their status.
“Royal Club is our way of recognizing the people who make Snoonu part of their daily lives,” said Bader Al-Ajeel, CEO of Snoonu – Kuwait.
“Loyalty deserves real value in return. That’s what this program delivers.”
A Strategic Play for Customer Retention
The launch of Royal Club is a key part of Snoonu’s wider strategy to increase customer engagement and stickiness across its multi-service platform. By rewarding frequent users with tangible benefits, the company aims to build a more dedicated user base in a competitive market.
The initiative is supported by Jahez International, which backs Snoonu, signaling a concerted effort to solidify its market position and add value beyond core transaction-based services. The program is free to join and accessible directly within the Snoonu app.
