The announcement was made during the fifth edition of the International Arab Forum for Diplomatic Women, an event co-organized by the ACSR and the League of Arab States. The council highlighted that El-Sabban’s selection was based on strict criteria, including the social impact and sustainability of her work, transparency, and her role in driving positive change.
Her contributions to strengthening the knowledge economy, empowering youth, and promoting a culture of social responsibility within the business environment were key factors in the decision. Dr. Randa Rizk, Secretary-General of the ACSR, stated, “The Arab Woman Award for Social Responsibility is granted to individuals who have successfully transformed professional success into sustainable developmental impact.”
Rizk added, “Engy El-Sabban was chosen for her tangible contributions to supporting innovation, empowering youth, and promoting digital transformation, as well as her belief in the role of technology in serving society. We are proud to have her join the ranks of our social responsibility ambassadors.”

A New Responsibility
Accepting the award, El-Sabban framed the honor as a catalyst for future work rather than a culmination of past efforts.
“I am honored to receive the Arab Woman Award for Social Responsibility for 2026, and I consider this tribute a new responsibility before it is a culmination of my career,” said El-Sabban. “I believe that technology and innovation have become among the most important tools for sustainable development, and that true investment begins with people—by empowering youth, supporting women, and building cadres capable of leading the future. I dedicate this achievement to the team that shared my belief that true success is the impact we leave on society.”
All award recipients are granted the title of “Ambassador of Social Responsibility” to acknowledge their influential work in serving their communities and building a more sustainable future.
