Orange Corners, a Dutch government-backed initiative, recently celebrated the 5th anniversary of its program in the Palestinian Territories. The milestone event, held in partnership with local implementer Flow Accelerator, also marked the graduation of its 9th cohort of startups and launched its first-ever Alumni Awards.

A Growing Hub for Palestinian Entrepreneurs

The celebration brought together founders, partners, investors, and policymakers to acknowledge five years of building a supportive community for Palestinian entrepreneurs. With the graduation of Cohort 9, a new group of founders now joins the Orange Corners Alumni Community, gaining access to a network for continued collaboration and growth opportunities.

The event underscored the program’s consistent role in fostering innovation and resilience within the local startup scene. Over the past five years, Orange Corners has graduated nine cohorts, steadily building a network of founders across various sectors.

Inaugural Alumni Awards Recognize Top Innovators

A key highlight of the anniversary was the launch of the Orange Corners Palestinian Territories Alumni Awards. The new awards program is designed to recognize the achievements and impact of entrepreneurs who have completed the program.

The first-ever winners were:

  • Alumni of the Year: Walaa Kashou for Churn Solution
  • Innovation of the Year: Amani Abulaban for Carevision
  • Rising Star Award: Issa N. for DataBuddy LLC
