- Focus: Expansion in the Syrian market
Bridging the Gap in Local Healthcare
Founded in 2024 by Dr. Hossam Al-Qabbani and Eng. Mohammed Al-Aqqad, Doctorbook operates a digital platform that connects patients with doctors and healthcare providers. The system also provides a suite of tools for clinics to manage appointments, patient flow, and medical records digitally.
The platform is currently active in Damascus, its surrounding countryside, and Aleppo. To date, Doctorbook has onboarded over 200 doctors and medical centers and has recently begun processing patient bookings.
AI-Assisted Medical Guidance
A key feature of the Doctorbook platform is its use of AI to help patients understand their medical results. Users can upload lab analyses, radiology images, or medical reports, and the platform’s AI tool provides a simplified explanation of the findings. It also guides them toward the appropriate medical specialist in their area for follow-up.
The new capital will be used to further develop the platform’s technology, boost marketing efforts, and support the company’s expansion plans within Syria.
