Delta Technological University hosted a delegation from Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Industrial Modernization Center to review student projects and discuss ways to connect them with industry needs.
The visit included presentations of this year’s graduation projects, with a focus on applying research and innovation to industrial challenges and community needs. Discussions covered specialized training, entrepreneurship support, startup formation, workforce readiness, and connecting student teams with investors, funding bodies, factories and companies.
The delegation included representatives from ITIDA, the Menoufia branch of Creativa, and the Industrial Modernization Center. The university said the engagement is intended to help turn student ideas into practical products and solutions while giving teams access to technical and business expertise.
Delta Technological University President Wajih Ahmed El-Askary said the institution is working to ensure that graduation projects address real industry and societal challenges. He added that partnerships with government bodies, companies and factories are important for helping students become entrepreneurs and innovators prepared for the labor market.
The visit forms part of the university’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with Egypt’s public institutions and industrial sector in support of innovation and entrepreneurship.
