Shumul Bank is continuing its “Entrepreneurship Fundamentals and Small Business Management” training course in Aden, Yemen, with the second day focused on digital marketing and project pricing.
Ahmed Al-Ariki, the bank’s digital marketing specialist, led a session on building an online presence, creating engaging content and selecting the right marketing channels to reach target customers and increase sales.
Wessam Wadi, the bank’s organisations officer, covered project costs and pricing strategies. The session examined how costs, revenues and profit are connected, and why accurate calculations are important for business sustainability and growth.
Participants took part in practical discussions, linking the training to challenges facing their businesses and asking how to apply marketing and financial tools in Yemen’s business environment.
The course is part of Shumul Bank’s programs to support small businesses, strengthen entrepreneurship skills and empower women running their own ventures. The first day covered marketing fundamentals, market and customer analysis, and effective promotion and communication.
