Orange Egypt has renewed its partnership with Enactus Egypt for the 20th consecutive year, continuing a long-running initiative to support university students and entrepreneurship across the country.
According to the announcement, the partnership has supported thousands of students by helping them build skills in entrepreneurship, project management, planning and innovation. It also focuses on turning ideas into practical projects addressing economic, social and environmental challenges.
The 2026 Enactus Egypt competition attracted teams from 71 universities. Mansoura University won first place with ATHR, a project that converts agricultural and textile waste into biodegradable tableware, plant-growing bags, reusable fabric bags and medical gauze.
The team will represent Egypt at the Enactus World Cup 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil, where teams from 33 countries are expected to participate.
Maha Nagy, Orange Egypt’s executive vice president for public relations, media and corporate communications, said the partnership gives young people practical opportunities to develop their skills and move from ideas to implementation. The company said the initiative supports youth empowerment, innovation and the development of a more competitive, knowledge-based economy in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
