LaunchPad Hackathon is inviting Egyptian technology projects to compete for financial prizes worth up to EGP 100,000.
The competition is open to solo founders and teams whose projects have reached the prototype stage and are built on real technology. Eligible areas include artificial intelligence, healthcare, education, industry, agriculture, fintech, cybersecurity, smart cities and other technology startups.
The hackathon is scheduled to begin on September 2 with a 15-day intensive camp at the Creativa Beni Suef Innovation Hub. The announcement said the number of participating teams will be limited.
Creativa is a national initiative launched by Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to connect young people with technology skills, employment opportunities and entrepreneurship support. The Beni Suef hub serves the local community and hosts activities spanning future jobs, freelancing, remote work and startups.
Applicants can take part individually or with a team. The announcement did not specify a registration deadline.
