Dubai-based Mahala.ai is offering enterprises, government bodies and semi-government organisations across the UAE and wider GCC access to senior remote Data Engineers, Data Scientists, AI/ML and MLOps specialists.
The company said its model allows specialists to work inside a client’s sovereign or virtual desktop infrastructure environment, keeping regulated data in-country while giving organisations access to expertise that may be difficult to hire locally.
Mahala.ai said it returns a shortlist of two or three candidates within 72 hours. Applicants are assessed for technical depth, enterprise delivery experience, consulting ability and compliance readiness, with only candidates scoring at least 75 out of 100 admitted to its network. DataFlow independently verifies credentials and conducts background checks.
The service targets sectors including government, financial services, insurance, energy, transport and logistics. Clients receive a single contract, compliance support and a one-month replacement guarantee, according to the company.
Amir Grabic, Mahala.ai’s co-founder and CEO, said the company was created to address the shortage of senior specialists needed to build the data foundations behind AI projects. He added that its remote delivery model is designed to support regulated work without requiring experts to relocate.
