Saudi Arabia’s Cultural Development Fund (CDF) has launched a new incentive program offering eligible cultural businesses up to SAR500,000 ($133,000) to develop or adopt artificial intelligence technologies.
The AI Incentives for Cultural Projects track targets micro, small and medium-sized enterprises working on AI-powered cultural products, services and technology solutions. It is the first track under Nama’s Incentives, a broader program supporting cultural projects in priority areas.
Funding will cover activities across the cultural value chain, including creativity and production, heritage preservation, content and knowledge development, cultural experiences, project operations, governance and intellectual property.
The initiative was launched in partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture and the Quality of Life Program, in collaboration with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). According to the announcement, the program aims to improve technology adoption and operational efficiency while supporting new cultural products and services.
Eligible organizations can apply through CDF until September 29, 2026. The initiative supports Saudi Arabia’s wider efforts to expand its creative economy under the National Culture Strategy and Vision 2030.
