Bitget Launches $300M Archimedes Program for MENA Hedge Funds and Asset Managers

Bitget has launched a $300M institutional capital program to support quantitative trading firms, asset managers and market makers across the Middle East and North Africa.

Called Project Archimedes, the initiative will initially focus on market-neutral strategies with established operating records and measurable risk controls, according to the announcement.

The program includes two tracks. A $100M capital provision program will support emerging and scaling quantitative trading firms, with Bitget providing capital under pre-agreed risk and return structures. A separate $200M interest-free lending program will target institutions with mature strategies and high trading volumes. Eligible participants can access the loans after meeting defined trading volume or market-position requirements.

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the program is designed for teams whose growth is increasingly constrained by access to capital rather than talent. The company aims to support more than 50 projects over the next six months.

Participants will undergo detailed strategy assessments, as well as due diligence and governance reviews covering withdrawals and performance risks. Bitget said the program will prioritize market-neutral strategies with clear operating histories and measurable risk-management systems.
