The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an has opened applications for the second cycle of its Third Sector Funding Program, supporting organisations developing solutions to social challenges in Abu Dhabi.

The program provides financial support for initiatives that implement or scale up community-focused projects addressing the emirate’s social priorities. According to Ma’an, eligible applicants include government and private entities, state-owned organisations, social enterprises, foundations, charities, small and medium-sized enterprises, NGOs, NPOs and associations.

Applicants must register and log in as an organisation to submit a funding request. The service is free of charge.

The application process includes submitting details of the initiative, its relevant social priority and supporting documents explaining how the funding request was calculated. Ma’an then screens applications for completeness before its technical team evaluates the proposed project. Applicants receive a decision and next steps within 60 working days, according to the program information.

The funding program is part of Ma’an’s work to support Abu Dhabi’s third sector and encourage initiatives with measurable social impact.
