Syria’s Investment Authority has signed a memorandum of understanding with Effect Plus, the organiser of the international “Emaar” exhibition for Syria’s reconstruction, to strengthen private-sector partnerships and promote investment opportunities.
The agreement was signed by Investment Authority Director General Ahmad Rawad Ramadan and Effect Plus Executive Director Basel Al-Sayed, according to the authority.
The MoU establishes a framework for strategic cooperation to showcase available investment opportunities and create direct communication channels between investors and private-sector companies. It also aims to support exhibitions and economic platforms that can help build new partnerships and encourage investment in Syria.
The agreement is part of the authority’s efforts to expand cooperation with the private sector and use economic events to attract investors and raise awareness of investment opportunities.
