Dhahran Municipality marked International Youth Day with “Youth Build the Future,” an entrepreneurship-focused event held at the House of Culture in Dammam.
The event aimed to help young people explore opportunities, develop their ideas and take practical steps toward launching viable projects. Sessions covered business model fundamentals, market and customer needs, entrepreneurial thinking, creative problem-solving and the transition from concept to execution.
Faisal Al Zahrani, spokesperson for the Eastern Province Municipality, said the initiative reflects efforts by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and the Eastern Province Municipality to empower young people and support community initiatives that build their skills.
The programme also featured Nouf Al Sultan, vice president of the Eastern Province Chamber’s Young Business Council, who shared her entrepreneurship experience and discussed turning ideas into projects, understanding customers and navigating challenges faced by founders.
Hani Al Aqeel, a certified management and STEM trainer, moderated the discussion. The event also provided a space for participants to exchange experiences and connect their skills with opportunities in the labour market.
