The Productive Families Association in Saudi Arabia’s Jazan region has supported 160 beneficiaries through a 10-month innovation business incubator focused on helping ideas and small projects become more market-ready.

The program, which recently concluded, covered four tracks: technology, entrepreneurship, digital crafts, and professional and service-based activities. Training included digital marketing, e-commerce platform skills, product photography, feasibility studies, microbusiness management, product development and innovation.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the incubator’s model moved participants from idea and project selection through training, skills development, incubation, acceleration and growth monitoring.

The program supported 45 beneficiaries in the technology track, 25 in entrepreneurship, 45 in digital crafts and 45 in the professional and services track. It also launched an online platform for incubation, acceleration and tracking the growth of beneficiaries’ economic empowerment projects.

Twelve standout projects received SAR8,000 each to help their founders launch and develop their businesses. The association said the initiative also strengthened participants’ capabilities in innovation, entrepreneurship, marketing and vocational skills, while improving their products’ prospects of reaching the market.
