A delegation from the Arab League is taking part in the HICOOL Global Entrepreneur Summit 2026 in Beijing, as Arab and Chinese stakeholders explore deeper cooperation in entrepreneurship, innovation and investment.

The delegation is led by Ahmed Mostafa Fahmy, head of the Arab League mission in China. The summit is being held from August 26 to 29 at the China International Exhibition Center and is organised by the Beijing Association of Foreign Talent and Beijing Hycore Innovation, with support from the Beijing municipal government.

The Arab League Secretariat is expected to deliver a keynote address during the opening session and participate in the Arab-Chinese Entrepreneurship Forum on August 29. It will also visit technology-focused exhibitions and related events.

According to the announcement, the summit is an opportunity to connect Arab innovation institutions, startup communities, universities, research centres and entrepreneurs with counterparts in China and other participating countries.

The Arab League and Chinese representatives are also expected to discuss creating a cooperation mechanism to facilitate exchanges in entrepreneurship, technological innovation, investment and industrial cooperation. The delegation will work with Chinese and Arab stakeholders on an initial framework for the proposed mechanism.
