Algeria Startup Challenge has selected four startups for the 2026 edition of its GreenTech Challenge, run in collaboration with BNP Paribas El Djazaïr.
The challenge attracted more than 143 startups and innovative solutions focused on sustainable cities, green skills, biodiversity and green industries, according to the announcement.
The selected startups are Uno Industry, ISOGRIN, AgriShield and GreenAL-Energy.
Algerian startup Uno Industry works in the circular economy, developing automated tyre collection and pyrolysis recycling solutions with digital traceability. ISOGRIN produces bio-based thermal insulation materials from olive pomace, targeting improved building energy efficiency.
AgriShield is developing an offline Edge AI platform for precision agriculture in arid regions. Its technology is designed to optimise irrigation and detect crop diseases. GreenAL-Energy converts organic waste into biogas and clean energy using portable modular biodigesters.
Algeria Startup Challenge said the selected startups will continue their journey through the programme, with their progress and contribution to the green economy ecosystem to be followed in the coming period.
