Roblox has chosen Riyadh as the location for its regional headquarters serving the Middle East and North Africa, expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia and its support for creators and developers across the region.
The company said Saudi Arabia is among its most popular and highest-earning markets. Creator earnings in the Kingdom increased 59% year on year in 2025, while Roblox creators globally earned more than $1.5B during the same period.
The Riyadh headquarters is being established with support from Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment, the Riyadh Creative District and the General Authority for Media Regulation. It will focus on strengthening the local creator ecosystem and supporting the Kingdom’s ambition to become a global gaming hub.
Roblox’s Saudi activities also include a partnership with Savvy Games Group covering game development, creator support and education. In May 2026, the first Play to Learn competition, organised with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Education, attracted 719,359 middle and secondary school students, who submitted more than 155,574 educational game ideas.
The initiative also involved 7,705 schools and 36,054 teachers. Roblox is turning the finalists’ concepts into playable experiences, with the winning team receiving support to fully develop its game and publish it through Roblox Learning Hub.
