Saudi Arabia’s Master Works Group has acquired a majority stake in geospatial technology company 1sTech, expanding its capabilities in geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, satellite imagery, drone technologies and geospatial artificial intelligence.

According to the announcement, the acquisition will support Master Works’ delivery of integrated digital solutions for government, critical infrastructure and defence projects in Saudi Arabia. The company plans to combine 1sTech’s spatial data expertise with its existing AI-powered digital transformation services.

The expanded offering will cover applications such as urban planning, aerial surveying, site monitoring, drone data analysis and satellite imagery processing. Master Works said the combination will help organisations analyse geographic data more effectively and make better-informed decisions.

Founded in 2022, 1sTech works with Saudi government entities and focuses on converting complex geographic data into actionable intelligence. Its capabilities include GIS, remote sensing, geospatial AI, drones and satellite imagery.

Master Works said it will integrate 1sTech’s expertise into its broader portfolio of digital products and services for government and private-sector clients. The transaction highlights the growing role of geospatial technologies and AI in Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation efforts.
