Sohar International has partnered with Oman-based Station 11 to establish the Sohar Innovation Hub, a dedicated center for financial technology companies and entrepreneurs.
Under the agreement, Sohar International will serve as Station 11’s exclusive banking partner. The hub will give startups access to banking services, technical expertise and connections with investors, regulators, financial institutions and strategic partners.
According to the announcement, the hub will support FinTech companies at different stages of product development. Startups will be able to use the bank’s financial infrastructure and expertise while testing solutions, preparing for commercial launch and scaling into new markets.
Station 11 brings together startups, established companies, investors and government entities to develop and test technology solutions. Applications are open to FinTech founders, entrepreneurs and technology innovators seeking to join the hub.
The partnership comes as Oman works to develop its FinTech sector and advance the digital economy and innovation goals of Oman Vision 2040.
