Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is continuing its Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program, which supports new solutions for Hajj and Umrah services under the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The program has two tracks: Development and Innovation, which focuses on testing and improving products, and Startups, which connects emerging companies with service providers and creates opportunities for partnerships.

During Hajj season 1447 AH, the program tested several solutions in live operating environments, including mobile units, a smart golf cart, a smart cabin, a smart wheelchair, the Amanatak digital platform and the Qissati Rahalati innovation.

According to the ministry, more than 761,000 people have benefited from the program. It has also supported more than 145 agreements and conducted 522 evaluations through field and virtual visits.

The previous Hajj season included 84 participating startups. The ministry said the program is designed to help innovators and startups validate their ideas, develop practical products and connect with companies serving pilgrims.
