The Jordanian Entrepreneurship Association has signed a memorandum of understanding with Russia’s Academy of Youth Diplomacy to deepen cooperation in entrepreneurship, innovation, youth empowerment, education, technology and research.

Bilal Al-Wadi, the association’s chief executive, said the partnership could expand financing and growth opportunities for Jordanian entrepreneurs while helping their startups access the Russian market and international customers.

According to the announcement, the agreement will support joint international programs and projects, connect institutions and ecosystem enablers in both countries, and create links with investors, experts and innovation networks in Russia and Tatarstan.

The association expects to announce grants and support programs for Jordanian entrepreneurs and innovators in the coming months, along with competitions and opportunities to incubate and develop promising startups.

Al-Wadi said the partnership will focus particularly on technology and innovation-driven ventures, with the broader goal of moving beyond knowledge exchange toward investment partnerships, acceleration programs, knowledge transfer and new market access for Jordanian startups.
