stc Bahrain has signed a reseller partnership with UiPath to offer robotic process automation and other enterprise automation services to business and public-sector customers.
Announced at LEAP in Riyadh, the agreement expands stc Bahrain’s managed services portfolio beyond connectivity and infrastructure hosting. The operator will offer support across the automation process, from identifying suitable workflows to deploying and managing automated systems.
UiPath’s technology is used to automate repetitive, rules-based tasks. According to the announcement, stc Bahrain plans to integrate these capabilities into its broader managed services offering, targeting organisations looking to streamline complex processes and reduce manual work.
Potential applications include back-office operations, finance, human resources and customer service, although the company has not announced specific customer deployments under the agreement.
stc Bahrain said the partnership is expected to create new revenue opportunities in enterprise and government markets. It will also allow the operator to combine automation with its existing connectivity, cloud, hosting and managed infrastructure services.
CEO Khalid AlOsaimi said the agreement would help customers reduce costs, improve efficiency and accelerate their digital transformation. The partnership reflects telecom operators’ growing push into managed digital services, including cloud, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and automation.
