Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Tourism has partnered with WTM Spotlight Riyadh ahead of the travel industry event’s inaugural edition, as the Kingdom works to expand international tourism collaboration and investment.
WTM Spotlight Riyadh will run from September 8 to 10, 2026, at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center. The event will connect international tourism businesses with Saudi companies and provide access to global markets.
Organizers expect tourism authorities, destinations, hospitality groups, airlines, travel technology companies, investors, buyers and other industry leaders to attend. Discussions will focus on business and investment opportunities across Saudi Arabia, as well as the Kingdom’s role as both a tourism destination and a major outbound travel market.
The partnership supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 diversification agenda. The Kingdom aims for tourism to contribute 10% of GDP and attract 150 million domestic and international visitors annually by the end of the decade.
According to Danielle Curtis, regional portfolio director at RX, the event is intended to connect international travel decision-makers with Saudi Arabia’s tourism market and encourage partnerships across the sector.
