LEAP 2026’s third day brought a series of major technology investment announcements in Saudi Arabia, spanning digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, mobility, gaming and startups.
NHC Innovation announced a SAR 3.3 billion ($880 million) investment in Khuzam Digital Valley, a multi-phase data centre project. NAVER Innovation and BytePlus will be its first anchor customers. AWS is also preparing to launch its first Saudi cloud region in December, backed by a commitment of more than $5.3 billion.
Foras AI, a MENA-focused investment platform, announced a $20 million initiative to invest in and acquire AI companies across the region. The Digital Government Authority and STV also formed a partnership to support startups working on government digital services and AI, including access to use cases, procurement opportunities and regulatory pathways.
Other announcements included Dubai-based hospitality platform estaie’s $5.2 million seed round to support its expansion into Saudi Arabia. LEAP discussions also focused on autonomous mobility, connected infrastructure, logistics and the development of local gaming talent.
