Seven Startups Win $1M in Equity-Free Prizes at LEAP 2026 Rocket Fuel

Seven startups have won a combined $1 million in equity-free prizes through the Rocket Fuel competition at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, spanning healthtech, space, water, data centers, medical devices and AI.

Cameroon-founded Waspito received the Grand LEAP Award and $250,000 for its telemedicine platform, which connects patients with doctors and healthcare services. Carevision won $150,000 through the LEAP Landing Award for its AI-powered health screening and cardiometabolic risk assessment technology.

Saudi spacetech startup SARsatX also received $150,000 through the Into New Worlds Award. The company develops Earth-observation tools combining satellite imagery, synthetic aperture radar and AI-powered geospatial intelligence.

Ferveret won the $150,000 Scaling Star Award for its data center cooling technology, while Melt Water received the same amount through the Tech for Humanity Award for its freezing-based water purification approach.

Imagine Devices took home $100,000 through the Shooting Star Award for neonatal and pediatric intensive care technologies, including its Trinity Tube. Kanz received $50,000 through The Founder Award for its AI-focused talent and skills platform.

According to the announcement, the prizes give the startups capital without equity dilution, alongside exposure to investors and technology leaders attending LEAP 2026.
