Saudi Arabia’s Absher digital government platform processed 240,268,250 electronic transactions during the first half of 2026, according to the announcement. The activity covered citizens, residents, visitors and businesses across the Kingdom.
Absher Individuals accounted for around 225.3 million transactions, while Absher Business recorded approximately 14.9 million. The digital document wallet generated the largest share of activity on Absher Individuals, allowing users to access official documents through the app instead of relying on physical credentials.
Government services also recorded significant volumes. The General Directorate of Public Security processed about 19.8 million transactions, including 19.1 million handled by the General Directorate of Traffic. The General Directorate of Passports recorded 13.9 million transactions, while the Civil Status Agency processed around 2.8 million.
Absher also issued 631,100 reports and handled about 12,100 general fingerprint-related inquiries during the period.
Digital identities issued through Absher provide access to Absher Individuals, Absher Business and Absher Government, as well as services on Saudi Arabia’s National Unified Access Portal, Nafath.
The platform ranked first in the Digital Government Authority’s 2026 Digital Experience Maturity Index, scoring 94.38%. The recognition was presented during LEAP 2026 in Riyadh.
