The UAE Artificial Intelligence Office and Google have launched a one-year complimentary Google AI Plus subscription for eligible university students across the country.
Students aged 18 and above can register until December 31, 2026. The programme provides access to the Gemini app, Google’s latest available AI model, AI research tools, image and video generation capabilities, and 400 GB of storage.
Students will also receive access to Gemini Notebook, which supports academic workflows by helping users organise information and sources, summarise educational materials, prepare research and interact with content through interactive audio.
The initiative will include virtual and in-person training focused on learning, research and responsible AI use. According to the announcement, the goal is to help students build practical AI capabilities as the technology becomes more common in education and the workplace.
The offer is part of the wider AI for All programme launched by the UAE AI Office and Google in 2024. That initiative aims to broaden access to AI, develop foundational skills and support research and AI solutions for different parts of society.
