Egypt will host the opening of Middle East Innovation Week 2026 (MEIW) from September 26 to October 8, bringing together startups, investors, corporates, government institutions, universities and innovation communities across Egypt, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The regional program is designed to connect stakeholders through a series of events across the three markets. It builds on Egypt Innovation Week, which the organizers said attracted more than 55,000 participants, 2,000 startups, 500 speakers and attendees from over 90 countries.
The program will begin in Cairo on September 26 and 27 with Techne Summit Cairo, covering capital and growth, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, corporate innovation, policy and markets, and the creative economy and heritage.
Community and partner events will follow across Egypt from September 28 to 30. The program then moves to the UAE for UAE Spotlight on October 1 and 2.
Egypt will host Techne Summit Alexandria at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina from October 3 to 5, before Saudi Spotlight closes the main program from October 6 to 8. A final event on October 9 will present the week’s key results and outputs.
MEIW 2026 will feature 13 innovation tracks, including fintech, healthtech, edtech, ecommerce, logistics, gaming, sports technology and food technology.
