Ahlibank has launched ahli tamkeen SME Academy, a three-month program designed to help small and medium-sized businesses in Oman strengthen their operations and pursue sustainable growth.
According to the announcement, the program will combine interactive workshops, coaching sessions and one-on-one support from qualified business coaches. Participants will receive guidance on business processes, growth opportunities, market fluctuations and strategies for improving competitiveness and resilience.
The academy will also support participating SME owners in developing actionable growth plans and connecting with fellow entrepreneurs and industry experts. The initiative is aligned with Oman Vision 2040, which places entrepreneurship, SME development and economic diversification among its priorities.
Zaliya Al Balushi, ahlibank’s general manager and head of corporate banking, said the academy builds on the bank’s role in supporting businesses beyond financial services by helping them improve market readiness and long-term resilience.
The launch adds to ahlibank’s focus on Oman’s SME ecosystem. The bank said its support for homegrown businesses is intended to encourage innovation, job creation and broader economic participation.
