Around 60 startups from around the world will take part in the Startup Investment Forum, taking place from February 21 to 23 at the King Salman International Convention Center in Madinah.
The three-day forum will also host the MIT Enterprise Forum Saudi Arabia and Arab World competition. It is designed to help international startups explore expansion opportunities in the Saudi market and connect with local investors.
According to the announcement, the Ministry of Investment will support participating startups with market entry and licensing, including reduced fees and access to a Saudi commercial registration after obtaining an entrepreneurship license.
The program will feature an exhibition of more than 60 international startups alongside 60 Saudi startups from the MIT competition. Participating companies include startups from Egypt, Jordan, Algeria, Poland, Georgia, Greece, the United States and the United Kingdom, working across sectors such as education technology, healthcare and financial services.
The forum will include workshops led by executives from Saudi and international organisations, investor meetings, networking sessions and startup pitches to leading investors in the Kingdom. The event is being held in partnership with the Ministry of Investment and Jameel Community Saudi Arabia.
