Invest Qatar has partnered with San Francisco-based applied AI company Brain Co to accelerate AI adoption across Qatar’s public and private sectors.

The partnership will identify and support AI pilots aligned with Qatar’s Third National Development Strategy and National AI Strategy. Priority areas include healthcare, energy, financial services and regulatory services, with a focus on addressing operational bottlenecks and advancing digital transformation.

Invest Qatar will connect Brain Co with government and private-sector stakeholders, support its expansion into Qatar and the wider region, and help the company build local expertise through training, knowledge transfer and capacity-building initiatives.

Brain Co also plans to open a flagship office in Doha. The company announced the move during Web Summit Qatar 2026.

Brain Co has already delivered an AI-powered building permit system for Qatar’s Ministry of Municipality. According to the company, the system reduced approval times from 30 days to 120 minutes and is designed to process up to 70% of engineering plans electronically during its first phase.

Brain Co emerged from stealth in September 2025 with a $30 million Series A co-led by Gil Capital and Affinity Partners. The company said it has 10 Global 2000 customers and has also worked in the energy sector.
