Abhi and NymCard have partnered to help UAE banks and licensed financial institutions offer credit to small and medium-sized enterprises more efficiently.
The companies will combine Abhi’s business financial solutions with NymCard’s card and payments infrastructure to support key stages of the SME credit journey. These include digital onboarding, loan origination, decisioning and disbursement.
According to the announcement, the partnership is designed to help lenders streamline processes that have traditionally relied on multiple, disconnected components. Financial institutions will be able to onboard SMEs, process applications, make credit decisions and release approved funds through a more integrated setup.
The companies said the model could also help lenders launch and scale SME credit products without building and connecting each part of the process themselves. For SMEs, the aim is to create a simpler route from application to funding.
Shiraz Ali, chief business officer at NymCard, said technology can play a significant role in improving SME credit delivery in the UAE. Zain Ali, AVP of sales and partnerships at Abhi, said the partnership will combine both companies’ platforms to simplify the credit journey and improve service for SMEs.
