Saudi CMA Proposes Twice-Yearly Earnings Calls for Tadawul Companies

1 Min Read

Companies listed on Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul could be required to hold earnings calls twice a year under draft rules proposed by the Capital Market Authority (CMA).

The proposal aims to improve disclosure and transparency for investors and analysts. Companies would need to hold the calls within five business days of announcing their financial results and publish the call details immediately on their websites.

The draft provisions cover companies listed on the main market but do not mention firms listed on Saudi Arabia’s junior market, Nomu.

The CMA is accepting feedback on the proposal until October 29, 2026. The regulator also recently consulted on tighter rules governing the use of borrowed funds for trading in overseas markets and participating in initial public offerings.
