Dent Secure won the Maroun N. Chammas Award and a $3,000 cash prize at the closing ceremony of the Berytech and Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) EC² Incubation program.
Twelve founding teams presented their ventures and progress during the incubation cycle. Five startups reached the final round, with Brain Rush and Safe Dose joining Dent Secure among the top three, according to an announcement shared by Berytech.
The EC² program supports early-stage founders through mentorship, capacity building and access to entrepreneurial expertise. Berytech and USJ established the initiative to help entrepreneurs develop ideas into viable ventures.
The ceremony featured remarks from Berytech Chairman and CEO Maroun N. Chammas, USJ Rector Prof. François Boëdec, S.J., Berytech Deputy General Manager Carla Saba, and Dr. Ursula El Hage, Director of EC² and SIP.
All 12 teams completed the incubation program, while Dent Secure received the top award and cash prize.
