Abu Dhabi-based AI company Presight aims to generate half of its revenue from international markets by 2030, up from about one-third today, as it expands across Central Asia, the Balkans and Africa.

CEO Thomas Pramotedham told AGBI that Presight operates in 14 markets, delivering AI and data systems for governments and enterprise clients. Kazakhstan is among its largest overseas operations, with more than 60 employees, while partnerships in South Korea are helping connect technology companies with opportunities across Presight’s network.

Presight is also positioning Abu Dhabi as a gateway for international technology companies through FutureSight, a platform that connects promising AI businesses with customers, sovereign investors and government decision-makers.

Its second cohort includes 12 scale-ups selected from 376 applicants across 62 countries. The companies include Germany’s Airmo, which uses satellites to track methane emissions, and South Korea’s Aitrics, which predicts deterioration in hospital patients.

The founders will meet senior executives from Abu Dhabi institutions including Adnoc and the Central Bank of the UAE. Presight said the previous cohort generated more than 70 commercial and strategic leads.

Presight also invested $1 million in portfolio company NodeShift through a $100 million fund established with Shorooq and formed a commercial partnership with the privacy technology startup.
