Al-Salam General Company and Chinese telecoms firm ZTE have signed a memorandum of understanding covering technology cooperation and manufacturing transfer in Iraq.
The agreement was signed during the Iraq International Exhibition and Conference ITEX5-2026 in Baghdad, under the patronage and in the presence of Communications Minister Mustafa Sanad, according to Iraq’s Ministry of Communications.
The ministry said the MoU is intended to strengthen cooperation with global technology companies and expand bilateral partnership in technology and manufacturing transfer.
