LvlUp Ventures is building a connected startup ecosystem around its portfolio of more than 1,000 companies, rather than treating each investment as a standalone business.
Founded in 2023, the firm has backed the companies through 15 funds and programs. According to the announcement, its network includes founders, investors, operators, corporate partners and industry specialists, with more than 2,500 core and extended team members and an Innovation Alliance of over 750 corporate and investment partners.
Aaron Golbin, LvlUp Ventures’ co-founder and general partner, and the wider team aim to turn that scale into practical support for founders. Potential connections could include distribution partnerships, customer introductions, fundraising guidance, technology integrations and market expansion opportunities.
The company said its model combines team support, technology, direct founder engagement, accelerator programming and corporate relationships. The goal is to make a large network easier to navigate and improve the chances of relevant introductions.
That approach also extends beyond portfolio companies. LvlUp is using its relationships with larger companies, investors and operators to create additional routes to capital, customers and strategic advice, depending on each founder’s needs.
