Syrian home healthcare startup Alo Hakeem has closed a $165,000 pre-seed funding round led by EBLA Ventures, according to the company.

Founded in 2025 by Albaraa Abdulsalam and Abdullatif Al-Baroudi, Alo Hakeem provides at-home medical services including consultations, treatment, physiotherapy, imaging and laboratory tests. The company currently operates across three Syrian provinces.

Alo Hakeem said it plans to expand into four additional provinces by the end of 2027, although it did not disclose which locations will be added.

The funding will support the company’s transition from its minimum viable product to its broader product vision. According to the announcement, Alo Hakeem will invest in its technology infrastructure and complete the official version of its app, which is scheduled to launch publicly in November.

The company previously participated in Thimar, a program supporting Syrian startups. Its latest round comes as Alo Hakeem works to make healthcare services more accessible outside traditional medical facilities.
