Namaa Center, part of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work under the Ministry of Social Development and Family, has concluded its “Small Entrepreneur” program for 40 young participants.
The two-week program introduced participants to entrepreneurship, creative thinking, innovation, marketing and understanding customer needs. It also focused on linking business ideas with sustainability practices.
According to the announcement, participants developed creative ideas into potential commercial projects designed to be sustainable, realistic and suitable for sale in Qatar’s local market.
The training included interactive workshops on developing and managing startups, studying market demand, and presenting products and services to consumers in a competitive and professional way.
Hamad Al Saffar, director of entrepreneurship at Namaa, said the initiative forms part of the center’s efforts to build an early culture of business leadership and investment among children and young people in Qatar.
Iman Al Obeidi, executive director of Sustainable Development Goals Ambassadors, said the program aimed to build participants’ confidence and investment awareness while preparing them to become future entrepreneurs contributing to Qatar’s economic diversification.
