UAE-based Nabta Health has raised $3M in the second tranche of its Pre-Series A round, led by Phoenix Venture Partners (PVP), as it shifts toward commercial expansion in preventive healthcare.

Founded in 2017, the company said it will use the funding to accelerate its go-to-market strategy, expand enterprise offerings and build partnerships with employers, insurers and healthcare providers. The round included institutional investors, venture capital firms, family offices and high-net-worth individuals. PVP’s investment combines primary and secondary capital, according to the company.

Nabta Health focuses on preventive and women’s healthcare. Its platform combines early disease detection, digital care and clinical services with Aya, an AI-powered health guidance platform. The company aims to connect patients with insurers and healthcare providers while supporting early intervention, care coordination and population health management.

The funding comes alongside a board change. Steve Khayat, founder and CEO of PVP, will join Nabta Health’s board as PVP’s representative, replacing co-founder and non-executive board member Dr. Mosaed Al Razouqi. Khayat said the investment would support customer acquisition and strategic partnerships, while Nabta Health founder and CEO Sophie Smith highlighted PVP’s regional relationships and hands-on support.
