Bahrain FinTech Bay has opened applications for the 2026 NBB Innovation Programme, a four-week, in-person initiative for Bahrain-based innovators and early-stage startups developing fintech or AI ideas.
The programme will run from January 4 to 28, 2027, at Bahrain FinTech Bay in Arcapita. Applicants must be at least 21 and can apply with an idea at the concept stage, without an existing product. Participants will work with teams from the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) and Bahrain FinTech Bay on product development, market research, compliance and pitching.
The programme will culminate in a Demo Day on February 1, where teams will present working products. The winning team will receive $10,000 and a three-month incubation at Bahrain FinTech Bay, including access to mentors, resources and its network.
Applications close on November 26, 2026. The programme will also feature sessions from NBB executives, fintech founders, investors and product specialists, along with practical workshops and one-to-one coaching.
