Qai and Hugging Face are accepting applications for a 48-hour AI hackathon taking place in Doha from 5 to 7 November 2026.
The in-person event will bring together developers, engineers and students to build working AI solutions using open-source tools on Hugging Face. Teams will pitch their projects as live demos to a panel of judges.
The hackathon is open to teams of two to four people. Solo applicants and pairs can request to be matched with other participants. Places are limited, and participation is subject to selection.
The event will begin at 5pm on Thursday, 5 November, and end at 5pm on Saturday, 7 November, at Nestwork Msheireb – M7 in Doha. Applicants must be able to attend in person for the full 48 hours.
Applications close on 29 October. Qai said the initiative aims to support AI talent development in Qatar and encourage practical innovation.
