Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP) has partnered with Microsoft to bring the Microsoft for Startups programme to its startup community, giving eligible founders access to cloud and AI technologies, technical expertise and go-to-market support.
QSTP has nominated 105 startups for the programme, with 47 currently active, up from 32 in August. The participating startups span sectors including AI, health and biomedicine, fintech, sustainability, education and cybersecurity.
Approved startups can receive up to $100,000 in Azure credits, with the potential to reach $200,000 over two years based on usage and eligibility. The package also includes Azure AI services, GitHub Enterprise, Visual Studio Enterprise, technical sessions with Microsoft Azure engineers, Azure support and resources to help founders reach customers and investors.
According to QSTP, the 47 active startups represent potential Azure credit value of between $4.7M and $9.4M. The figures reflect the maximum possible value available to the cohort and are not a commitment of credits.
The collaboration gives QSTP startups a direct pathway into Microsoft’s support ecosystem as they move from early validation and incubation toward product development, scaling and investor readiness.
