Alibaba’s AliExpress and Tmall have launched a joint program to help Chinese brands, factory manufacturers and AI hardware companies expand domestically and overseas.
Announced on October 19 in Shenzhen, the China Brand Global Growth Program will provide major brands with dedicated service teams and support covering areas such as brand protection and marketing. Midea, Haier and TCL are among its early participants.
AliExpress plans to offer one-stop managed services to more than 1,000 factory brands, with the goal of helping them double their business growth. It also plans to make angel investments in promising AI hardware companies and incubate more than 100 of them, according to the announcement.
The platforms are targeting annual growth of 50% in both the number of participating brands and brand GMV over the next three years. AliExpress said sales in its AI hardware category doubled year on year between January and July 2026.
The initiative builds on AliExpress’s Brand+ program, which provides marketing, AI-powered product and pricing tools, multilingual content generation, and fulfillment support. The company also plans to expand the program to markets including the US, South Korea and Brazil, while growing its local warehousing network in Europe.
