Creativa Alexandria has opened applications for GENOVATE 2026, a startup development program for teams building technology solutions in education, workforce development and healthcare.
The hackathon is open to teams of three to five members. Participants can apply through either the Edu-Tech track, covering areas such as AI-powered learning, workforce upskilling and digital education, or the Health-Tech track, focused on AI diagnostics, telehealth, healthcare automation and preventive care.
Teams will move through a structured process covering training, market validation, product and MVP development, business modelling and pitch preparation.
The program offers a total cash prize pool of EGP 100,000. First place will receive EGP 46,000, along with EGP 15,700 in services including coworking space and five days of mentoring. Second place includes EGP 30,000 and EGP 9,900 in services, while third place includes EGP 24,000 and EGP 7,400 in services.
