Kafr El Sheikh University in Egypt has hosted a seminar aimed at helping students explore careers in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Titled “Creativity… the Path to Success,” the event was organized by the university’s Faculty of Computers and Information. It focused on career opportunities in information technology, the skills required by the digital economy and how students can turn early ideas into practical, scalable projects.
The session featured Khaled Hassan, editor-in-chief of Digital World magazine, alongside representatives from Microsoft, the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and Vezeeta. Their participation gave students exposure to different perspectives from the technology, healthcare and media sectors, as well as insight into current workplace expectations.
The university said it is prioritizing innovation and entrepreneurship by connecting academic learning with practical applications. Discussions covered technology career paths, professional and technical skills, and the process of developing an idea from identifying market needs through implementation, growth and sustainability.
Osama Abu Saada, dean of the faculty, encouraged students to use such events to build technical and personal capabilities, adopt continuous learning and develop solutions that can become viable ventures. The seminar forms part of the university’s broader effort to strengthen partnerships with industry and technology organizations and promote an innovation-focused campus culture.
