The first edition of the Morocco-Italy Permanent Legal and Economic Forum concluded in Rabat with the signing of two agreements focused on entrepreneurship, innovation and commercial dispute resolution.
The first agreement brings together the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services and Italy’s AGAMI association. It aims to support joint initiatives for startups and entrepreneurs, including assistance with launching and growing businesses.
The partnership also covers innovation, digital transformation, technology services, vocational and ongoing training, skills development, and professional mobility between Morocco and Italy. The two sides will establish a permanent consultation framework for their business communities.
A second agreement between the International Centre for Mediation and Arbitration in Rabat (CIMAR) and AGAMI will promote mediation and arbitration as tools for settling commercial disputes amicably in Morocco. It also provides for information sharing and cooperation on conferences, seminars and training programs related to arbitration and mediation.
The signing ceremony was attended by a 13-member Italian delegation of legal professionals, lawyers and investors led by AGAMI President Kawtar Badran. Both agreements took effect upon signing and will be implemented through annual action plans.
The forum officially launched in early October in Italy, bringing together institutional delegations, legal experts and business leaders from both countries.
