Abu Dhabi has established TAMM Global, an independent company that will take the emirate’s AI-powered TAMM government services platform to foreign governments.
Established by the Department of Government Enablement under the directives of Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, TAMM Global will license the platform’s architecture, pre-built services and implementation methods. It will adapt the technology to each market’s laws, regulations and operating requirements.
The company will manage and develop TAMM, own related intellectual property, and work directly with governments, organisations and institutions worldwide. It will also conduct digital services research, train Emirati talent and invest in sector opportunities in the UAE and abroad.
TAMM currently brings more than 1,200 public and private sector services together through a single digital gateway. According to the announcement, the platform has reduced service delivery costs by 30% and achieved a 94.5% customer satisfaction rate, up from 78% in 2022 before AI was added to the app. Users save an estimated 12 hours and nine service-centre visits each year.
The launch supports Abu Dhabi’s broader plan to build an AI-native government. The emirate approved a AED 13 billion ($3.54B) Government Digital Strategy last year, with more than 200 AI solutions in development.
